About Us
Dr. Waheed, Padma shree recipient 2017, graduated in Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) from Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1979. He acquired clinical research training from University of Los Angles California, USA., AIIMS New Delhi, KEM Medical College, Mumbai.
Dr. Waheed has published 38 research papers in National/International journals and presented more than 67 research papers in National/International conferences.

Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a patchy loss of color of the skin, is an acquired depigmentation of skin which results from the destruction of the melanocytes.
Vitiligo, being a cosmetic problem with no racial and gender bias is a common, acquired, primary, progressive, chronic depigmentory disorder of obscure etiology, manifesting clinically as patchy, circumscribed achromic macules sometimes associated with leucotrichia(white hair) of the involved skin.
Psoriasis
A social, cosmetic and a dermatological problem which causes extreme social discomfort, depression and loss of self esteem.
Psoriatic arthritis
A form of arthritis that affects some people who have the psoriasis. Psoriatic arthritis is a type of inflammatory arthritis. Symptoms include joint pain, stiffness and swelling, which may flare and subside. Many people with the condition are affected by morning stiffness. Even mild skin psoriasis can have a significant degree of arthritis.
